One of Toronto’s most beloved summer celebrations is making its return — the TD Festival of South Asia, now in its 23rd consecutive year!
This free, two-day street festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, July 19 & 20, from 12 PM to 11 PM, transforming Gerrard Street East (between Coxwell & Glenside) into a vibrant cultural hub.
Each year, thousands of people gather in the heart of Gerrard India Bazaar to experience:

یکی از محبوبترین جشنهای تابستانی تورنتو به زودی بازمیگردد؛ فستیوال آسیای جنوبی که امسال برای بیستوسومین سال متوالی برگزار میشود.
این ایونت رایگان، در روزهای شنبه و یکشنبه ۱۹ و ۲۰ جولای از ساعت ۱۲ ظهر تا ۱۱ شب، خیابان Gerrard East بین تقاطعهای Coxwell و Glenside را به یک جشن بزرگ خیابانی تبدیل میکند.
در این دو روز، هزاران نفر در محله Gerrard India Bazaar گرد هم میآیند تا شاهد اجرای زنده بیش از ۲۰۰ هنرمند باشند؛ از رقصهای سنتی هندی و موسیقی فولکلور تا اجراهای بالیوودی و مدرن.
غذا، همانطور که از یک جشن آسیای جنوبی انتظار میرود، یکی از بخشهای اصلی برنامه است. رستورانها و فروشندههای محلی غذاهای متنوعی از هند، پاکستان، بنگلادش، سریلانکا، نپال و دیگر کشورهای منطقه را با طعمی اصیل عرضه خواهند کرد.
علاوه بر موسیقی و غذا، ورکشاپهای تعاملی، اجراهای خیابانی و غرفههای لباس و زیورآلات دستساز نیز تجربهای فرهنگی و هنری فراموشنشدنی برای بازدیدکنندگان رقم میزنند.
