Starting today, Friday, August 1st, the grand tent of the Royal Canadian International Circus has been set up in the parking lot of Promenade Mall in Thornhill and will welcome circus enthusiasts for four days.
Having completed successful performances on Canada’s West Coast, this circus is now embarking on the next leg of its Ontario tour, promising a diverse lineup of international performers—from daredevil motorcyclists in the “Globe of Death” to acrobats and comedy acts.
The shows take place under the classic Big Top tent, creating an intimate and unique atmosphere unlike traditional venues. Organizers say the performances are designed for all ages, with families as the primary audience.
After Thornhill, the circus will continue its tour:
- August 8–17 at Dixie Outlet Mall
- August 21–September 1 at Burlington Centre
Due to the limited number of shows in Thornhill, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets in advance through the circus’s official website.
